"Nutaira started with a question I couldn't answer."
It was 3:14 AM on a Tuesday. I was staring at the ceiling after a long day, feeling tired but unable to fully unwind.
Like many people, I had started looking more closely at magnesium supplements and was surprised by how many different forms, formulations, and ingredient combinations were available.
That experience led me to start researching magnesium more carefully—not as a nutrition expert, but as a consumer who wanted to better understand what I was putting into my body.
One thing became clear: not all forms of magnesium are the same.
Magnesium can be supplied in several different forms, each with its own characteristics. That led to the idea behind Nutaira: create a simple, thoughtfully formulated supplement using magnesium glycinate, a chelated form in which magnesium is bound to the amino acid glycine.
We also chose to include active vitamin B6 as P5P to complement the formula, while keeping the ingredient list straightforward.
